Operating Your Safe Place Program Virtually

This half-day training reimagined the ways in which licensed Safe Place agencies can utilize virtual and remote opportunities to connect with their community, engage with their target audiences, promote awareness, and advocate for a world where all youth are safe. In addition to the training, participants networked with fellow Safe Place staff across the nation to share innovative and creative ideas to enhance their program, as well as receive first access to a “Virtual Connections” companion toolkit. Featured in this exclusive resource are downloadable tip sheets, public service announcements, social media posts, coloring pages, and webinars. This session was centered on solution-focused problem solving to address the ever-changing needs of youth and families through Safe Place and provided guidance on how agencies can continue to operate within the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
